Jean-Christophe Calvet, President, brings over 25 years of experience in the marketing and sales of both wines and spirits in the USA, South America, and Europe. After 10 years in New York with Julius Wiles and Remy-Amerique, where he was Vice President of Marketing USA, Jean-Christophe moved to Bogota, Colombia as Managing Director of a new distribution company for the Group Remy-Cointreau. He was responsible for 11 countries in South America. After 4 years of living on the edge in Bogota, Jean-Christophe became Managing Director of Remy Ireland. In 1998, he returned to Bordeaux to start his own wine negociant company. Jean-Christophe is a graduate of the University of Paris ASSAS, and has attended the advanced management programs at Stanford University and Columbia University.
Margaret Calvet, Vice-President and CFO, is a former Wall Street investment banker (Salomon Brothers and E.F. Hutton), and began working in the wine business in 2002 with husband Jean-Christophe Calvet. She brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, venture capital, and small start-up high-tech companies. As one of the few female and only American négociant in Bordeaux, Margaret is having a great time carving out a niche in this traditionally male domain. Margaret is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

These are the challengers. Outstanding quality at competitive prices. Innovative packaging and limited production. We have formed partnerships with over 100 family-owned estates. We work with them to improve quality and packaging, and develop exclusive products.
Classified Growths
These are the stars. Expensive, prestigious, they have created the romantic mystic surrounding Bordeaux. We focus on the top 40 sold on the futures.
Focus
We concentrate on three markets: USA, UK and Japan. Our sales team spends 8 months of the year on the road working with our customers. We export to all 50 states in America.
